Shreshta Events is the brainchild of Mrs. Shreshta Chandra, dedicated to creating innovative, environment-friendly, and unforgettable trendy events.
Mrs. Shreshta Chandra embarked on her entrepreneurial journey with a mission to empower and inspire women in their careers, while also introducing eco-friendly decorative products. Her vision, known as “Back to the Roots,” revolves around promoting and championing local artists, reconnecting clients with their cultural heritage.
Through her event management company, she has provided support to numerous female artists, photographers, home bakers, makeup artist, designers, and printers. Notably, she has extended her assistance to women living below the poverty line, offering training and employment opportunities within her organization. To date, Mrs. Shreshta Chandra has positively impacted the lives of approximately 47 women.
Additionally, she has initiated a unique business model wherein associates can transition into business owners. To date, five individuals have already benefited from this innovative approach.
Shreshta Chandra is actively involved with various social organizations, including PGF World Literary Group, Paropkar Group, and Agnel Society.
She has a commendable commitment to reducing food wastage in her events, any surplus food is promptly donated to needy like security guards, Gurukul, and the NGO Robinhood Army.
During the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, Ms. Chandra took the initiative to cook and distribute food for the Covid affected families. She delivered over 100 food packets at their doorsteps three times a day, for an extended period of over 20 days.
Furthermore, her business model is built on the principle of profit-sharing with her employees, fostering a collective growth approach for everyone involved.
Shreshta Chandra is married to Ankur Chandra, Senior Vice President, WNS Global Services. She is blessed with two young kids.
